Yay! I was just talking to my husband about getting a new roof and suggested instead of shingles we just install solar panels... he thought it might not be such a good idea. I'm going to work on him...
Just yesterday, I was thinking, if I were younger, I would probably build a home with solar panels on the roof.
I had solar water heat in Sacramento in 1984-88 -- loved it! I wish I could do it here, but the middle unit in a building of 5 isn't really conducive to that until the perfect the battery system I just read about today.
I'm glad to hear that people are finally beginning to take notice of the issues!
