  • Affordable Health Care

The rollout of Obamacare is not going well (according to Republicans, according to Faux News, but not according to anybody else, as far as I can tell.)

In my opinion, the website glitches are caused as much by the rampant demand for healthcare insurance as by the incompetence of the web designers.  Yes, the huge demand should have been anticipated.  I'll admit that.

I especially loved Bill Keller's op-ed in the New York Times last week.  "Obamacare -- the Rest of the Story."

Tons more snippets of observations to make.  No time to make them.  It's a busy life I lead.  A good busy.

  • Big changes are rarely smooth,...just ask Xanga, haha.

The task was made more difficult due to such strong opposition and continuous defiance rather than working together on improvement.

It's always easy to complain and cast a negative light, but the harder lift is actually trying to make a difference.

Those that complain the loudest are obligated to offer an alternative solution if they wish to be taken seriously.

  • Thanks for that link!
Glad your life is a good busy! :-) I'm happy to say mine is too!
    HUGS!!! :-)

  • Good reading....But.....I wonder.....Why did it take 782 pages to enact this health care law?

To start the sign up, on line, it cost the tax payers 88 million to set the web sight up....

And....According to the News, yesterday, it's cost another 200 million to iron out the glitches, and they're still having problems....

They should have just stuck with the sending out of insurance forms requested over the phone.....

  • I love all the conspiracy theories being thrown out there concerning Obamacare http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2013/08/7-obamacare-conspiracy-theory
