A Blast From the Past
Not sure if all the comments are visible, but I think they are. This is one of those incredible instances of Xanga-sharing and Xanga-supportiveness that I will miss, come July 15.
That entry was about how I was denied the right to attend my father's funeral, back when I was 10 years old.

Hard to respond to some topics but I see that you did a bit of "research" which shows your caring concern.
Your oldest post is August 20, 2001, soon you will be having your 12th anniversary here on xanga if it is still around.
An interesting experiment. from time to time I also try to inventory the disappearances
If there are manners on the net(?) I suppose saying goodbye is considered in good taste. Yet it's become almost a 'cry 'Wolf' cliche, as it is so often followed by 'Well, I'm back.
Deceased is entirely another matter, and sad, of course. A site can't , I assume, be shut down without a password, and so few deceased manage to write the password on their toe-tag. When I had my heart-attack scare a few years ago I did give my password to a friend here the night before I went in to meet my Maker. Yeah 'Pre-need', that's the exquisite euphemism in the funeral biz.
Hey you! I stopped in today to vent in a private place and discovered this. Big hugs to you!
@unbridled_science - I love you back, Robbie! Email me at:

and we won't lose touch with each other. Thanks for the hugs!
