  • Getting acquainted

    This new look is driving me completely crazy. And how do I find the list of favorite sites, so I can visit Zakiah and Donna Lou and Yonatan and all of my other friends?

    Very very busy today. At least the home refinance seems like a done deal.

  • Hi Bob, It took me a while too. Go to Reading and click on it. You should be able to see your subscribers.
    What book are you reading?

  • I don't know how to navigate other than the Reader which shows what people have posted. It's harder to go to someone's site, even if they've commented. Maybe it will get better with time.

  • According to my email, Zakiah has made a comment, which I am required to approve. I just wish I knew how to do that.

    I'm beginning to get it figured out....Like when you read something on the reading page, click on the title above what you're reading...

    It'll take you to a page, when you can read and comment....

    It's hard, but once you've been on it for a while, it'll become easier....I was having a problem with myself, with commenting. I clicked on the article, and oops!! took me to Xanga 2.0 coming soon....

    Just now, I clicked on "getting acquainted" and...Here I am!!

  • Bob, when you see a comment, there are a few options underneath the comment, ie: Approve, reply, delete or some such thing. Click on the "approve" part, and then the Reply box will appear to the right of the comment below, and click on that to reply. I can't believe I am showing the way to a pro!

  • Ha. all in all, it's more comfortable than horrid WP... and I've only been here looking around a bit for a half hour.
    Your site looks fine, for now.
    and Zakiah is a perfect teacher; I'd follow her anesthetized into the operating room with eyes closed, ha.

    Meanwhile, if you want to' moderate' my comment, I suppose you *could* change 'horrid WP' to 'unfathomably un-navigable WP'

  • Hey! Yes, this new Xanga is a lot like WP, but not quite there yet! I miss the "rec" button!
    You should have a "Following" button on your Dashboard...they seemed to have migrated all of our "Friends" and "Subs" and combined them there! So you should find everyone...or if they post you will find them under "Reading".

    • Glad to see you, Caroline. I just wish it wasn't so much work finding what I want to read. I used to just click on the name that was on the left-hand side of my blog. Much much easier.
